Job Description: **Main Purpose of the Role**: – Work within a team to execute the Compliance and Certification test plan on assigned project(s). – Identify and communicate software issues to the project team and enter them in the appropriate database. – Assist in providing a positive testing atmosphere for the team. **Key Duties and Responsibilities**: – Proactively carry out thorough software testing and game design reviews within a specified timeframe in order to daily detect (and subsequently report) functionality and guideline bugs, software flaws and/or provide risks assessment for potential design issues. – Ensure correct write-up (in English) of bugs, flaws and issues and aid with issues that need clarification. – Proactively seek improvements in departmental processes, tools, and testing procedures. – Adhere to EA security procedures and promote general team health. – Take responsibility for equipment and software security; each individual is responsible for the security of any hardware or software that is in their possession. – Actively provides mentoring and training on an individual and group basis. – Take ownership of regression and keep databases up to date – Aware of platform differences and collaborates with platform test teams across the assigned project(s) during issue investigation and regression. **Special Considerations** EACC is a dynamic area where there are peak periods of activity and therefore the work load and the make-up of teams vary. Therefore, it is necessary that the incumbent has past-experience of working in a team environment of constant change. This also requires a flexible approach to working hours. **Experience, Skills and Knowledge Required**: – Fluency in English – Excellent verbal and written communication skills. – Strong understanding and advanced testing skill of at least one platform. – Demonstrated proactivity on project work. – Proven ability to quickly learn new processes and tasks. – Proven reliability and accountability performing tasks assigned. – Demonstrate an organized, structured approach to testing tasks with attention to detail. – Collaborate with remote test teams within EACC and promote best practices/knowledge sharing. – Ability to work under pressure. – Ability to work effectively and independently of others. – Excellent work ethics. – Ability to coach and mentor. **Behaviours/ Competencies** – Embrace change, react quickly and efficiently under pressure. – Exhibit professionalism and maturity, respond to facts with facts, not emotion. – Strong communication skills. – Ability to positively influence and motivate others. – Detail-oriented and a creative thinker. – Receptiveness to feedback and ability to act on it. – Potential for developing skills such as negotiation and conflict resolution. – Task, resource, and performance coordination.
