Job Description

To support and develop the art & technical pipelines through education, tool creation, and asset optimizations. You will ensure that the project ships out a performant & polished product.

Responsibilities :

  • Set, enforce, and share good and optimized graphical data setups and practices.
  • Write clear and precise technical documentation tailored to various audiences.
  • Develop benchmarking, testing, and prototyping tools for artists.
  • Evaluate and integrate assets such as meshes and textures.
  • Ensure clear and effective communication among artists and programmers.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in 2D / 3D art software (Designer, 3DS Max, Maya, Blender, Houdini).
  • In-depth knowledge of game engines (inhouse game engine (written in C++) / Anvil, Proprietary, Unreal, Unity).
  • Understanding of scripting languages (Python, C#, Max Script).
  • Shader programming skills in Unity / Unreal / OpenGL.
  • Optimization skills such as using graphics profilers, optimizing geometry and textures, and Python scripting for data conversion between Maya and internal tools.
  • Familiarity with bug tracking software (JIRA) and management systems (Perforce).
  • Interest and experience in multiple areas of game development (Modelling & Texturing, Physics simulations, Destruction, VFX, Lighting, Rendering, Post Processes, Procedural, Rigging and Animation, Shaders).
  • Industry experience developing AAA titles for current console hardware.
  • Experience in real-time digital art content creation and artistic workflows.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, mentorship, and presentation skills.
  • An aptitude and drive for innovation, collaboration, decision-making, and creative problem-solving.

As a plus :

  • Mastering the following software : Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere, Substance 3D, and ZBrush.
