Company Description

Ubisoft Bordeaux

Founded in 2017, Ubisoft Bordeaux works passionately on the biggest AAA games to deliver the best gaming experiences. Today, the studio boasts over 400 talents from 20 different nationalities, working on licenses such as Assassin’s Creed, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and other unannounced projects. At the same time, the studio has set up a Tech branch, which works on all Ubisoft’s online services, Online Services, as well as on the Anvil game engine. An R&D center, La Forge, has also been created, bringing together engineers and researchers to work together on prototypes for game production, particularly around AI issues.

You will be joining the Online Services team, a cross-functional team of the Ubisoft group with an international presence, which develops shared services for productions. These services are used by all our games, whether they are in development or live and accessible to players. As these services are in great demand, the Online Services team has to guarantee a high level of stability, while continually developing new features to meet the needs of our productions.

More specifically, you’ll be working in the “Social” development teams, whose mandate is to promote interaction between our players in a healthy and positive gaming environment. You’ll work on services related to player interaction (friends list, player groups, party-play, player-reputation/anti-toxicity, moderation, etc.). As these teams are spread across the globe, you will be working in an international context, where English will be the reference language.
