As a recent college graduate, you will apply academic knowledge and contribute to large-scale distributed systems and creator workflows that empower personalization for millions of EA players.
You will report to a Technical Director on the Data & AI platform, with the option of a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
You will help build a unified platform across EA, extract and process massive datasets from 20+ game studios, and use insights to serve millions of online requests.
You will help develop features that enhance a large-scale online platform to personalise player experience and provide reporting and feedback.
You will work across organisations to improve Content Management, Messaging, Segmentation, Recommendation, Experimentation, and Ads workflows.
You will develop Ads experiences such as network connections, ads marketplace, data exchange, funnel analysis, measurement and reporting.
You will work with Legal and Privacy teams to advocate for player rights, and ensure that compliance directives are strictly followed.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/related field or relevant experience.
Proficiency in data structures, algorithms, time and space complexity evaluations.
Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, TypeScript or Python.
Proficiency in writing reusable code, version control, test-driven development, and continuous integration.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript toolkits (e.g., React, Angular, Deno, and Vite).
Experience with back-end frameworks and technologies (e.g., Spring Boot, Gin for Golang).
Familiarity with multi-cloud architectures to manage data pipelines across vendors (e.g., AWS, GCP)
Familiarity with online & offline databases, including columnar, relational (MySQL, Postgres) or document (Couchbase, Redis) databases.
Experience communicating with audience from several backgrounds, including software engineers, product managers, and non-technical creatives.
Familiarity with creating detailed technical and product documentation.
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $79,900 – $111,900 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
