Reporting into the Director, Strategy & Planning, this role will be vital to the operational excellence of this team.About You:You are a solutions-oriented leader who possesses excellent organizational skills and is an effective communicator that thrives in highly collaborative and cross-functional environments. You are self-driven and want to contribute to the success of a global organization by helping them scale and build seamless processes. You can deliver complex programs by demonstrating curiosity, flexibility, prioritisation, excellent planning, execution, and partner management skills. You understand and are passionate about the evolving landscape of the video games industry.
- Cross-Functional Liaison: Act as a liaison between our department and global cross functional teams (Brand, CRM, Social, Consumer Insights, territory, commercial etc.). Be the central point of contact to ensure our 3P marketing programs are aligned and prioritised across SIE marketing and commercial teams. Establish and drive a consistent portfolio management framework and process to prioritise 3P marketing content and work collaboratively with PlayStation marketing channel teams to drive seamless execution of content priorities.
- Process Lead: Work with the GPM team to establish internal processes for our team to drive operational excellence. Contribute to the establishment of common practices and templates including tools that streamline and create efficiencies for the planning, reporting and governance of day to day partner marketing tasks.
- Rhythms of business: Own and help manage the rhythm of the business by leading regular monthly, quarterly and annual operational planning cycles.
- Global Budget Management: Oversee the day-to-day monitoring and reconciliation of the team’s global marketing budget with the support of a budget specialist. Serving as a key collaborator between partner marketing, territory marketing, media, accounting & finance teams. Collaborating with the Director on marketing budget allocations by market. Assisting with the reconciliation of monthly, quarterly and year end budgets. Implementing budget tools and processes to streamline the budget management process.
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery of multiple strategic and complex cross-regional, cross-functional initiatives with multi-level dependencies.
- Ad-Hoc Support: As needed, support the department with miscellaneous cross-functional project support.
What we are looking for:
- Proven senior years of relevant work experience with domain expertise in one of the following areas: video gaming, brand/partner marketing, portfolio management, process implementation, project management and/or consulting.
- Proven track record of building processes where they have not existed before to improve team productivity
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills; capable of effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels and proven experience building strong internal relationships across departments and of driving collaborative behaviors within teams
- Demonstrated success creating and delivering documentation at all levels from executive-level summary presentations to detailed processes guides for specialists.
- Experience working with globally-distributed teams and multicultural working environments with the ability to work across global time zones (US/UK/Japan)
- Proven acumen of complex budgets across multiple projects
- Technical skills: Strong proficiency (intermediate to advanced) in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint); collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Slack, Google Drive, and Microsoft Teams, etc).
- Creative and energetic team player who is proactive, curious, embraces change and has a desire to continually learn and improve.
Preferred
- Graduate/Advanced degree and/or Project Management certification
- Video Game industry experience
