Sr. Manager Global Talent Program Management

Role Overview:

The Sr. Manager Global Talent Program Management exists to lead connection of Global Talent programs and service offerings in consideration of their team needs. You will aim to improve the access point to Global Talent and ensure the best solution for the business opportunity is offered without multiple points of contact. The Sr. Manager Global Talent Program Management improves effectiveness and experience with Global Talent programs but provides a business-driven lens to the solutions. Sr. Manager Global Talent Program Management, act as primary program leaders, outcomes and measurement insights, usages evaluation and solution partners.

Our Sr. Manager Global Talent Program Management, carefully determine, with the help of their Global Talent SME leaders the programs, talent strategies, learning actions and organizational effectiveness approaches to fulfill the business need.

Role / Job Summary:

  • Reports to the Director of the Talent and Performance team
  • You will have opportunities to contribute to high impact annual programs (performance, rewards, talent and goal planning)
  • You will become an expert in our global annual programs including partnering with the People Experience team delivering high touch support focusing on operational efficiency, simplification and streamlining
  • You will detail Global Talent program offerings in the space of executive development, manager development, learning, organization effectiveness, goals, and reporting insights on the above-mentioned areas for respective teams being served.
  • You will work directly with the People Experience Team across the globe (Compensation, People Operations, Analytics, People Experience Partners, DEI (Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion), HRIT, Corp Communications) to guide specific deliverables to meet program milestones including communications, managing and evaluating program data to assess program strengths and opportunities. Keeping all relevant teams and partners up-to-date and aware of program news and opportunities for collaboration. May include interaction with Sr. Leaders outside of the People Experience team.
  • You will organize support materials specific to annual programs (performance, rewards, talent & goal planning)
  • You will help create team specific Global Talent dashboard (by BU)

Skills required for success:

Program Leadership & Change Management

  • Scopes & runs complex programs determined by your team with care for the talent strategy or selected Global Talent programs in partnership with People Experience partners and business leaders.
  • Help provide necessary information for partners to make decisions, achieve outcomes and meet important milestones and timelines. Share relevant information promptly using a variety of platforms.
  • Ensure programs are run inclusively across global time zones and that several team members are given the opportunity to participate.
  • Use advanced change management knowledge to influence the effectiveness of new program rollout by making appropriate recommendations and implementing them.
  • Understand our Global talent offerings to help the team decide the best solution for implementation (with direction from function SME).

Partnership, Consulting & Influencing:

  • Build credibility with partners across PE, within Global Talent and in the business you support.
  • Use influencing techniques to guide progress towards goals.
  • Identify bodies of work where external partners are needed and cultivate relationships that lead to successful outcomes.
  • Identify issues, gaps, needs, and new ideas for current programs, and pitch those to leadership.

Process Effectiveness:

  • Guide an organized process, give clear direction, and manage deliverables with multiple teams.
  • Make appropriate use of Global Talent resources and follow EAs policies concerning program specialty including all systems, tools, and legal guardrails.
  • Remove barriers for team, implement ways to increase velocity to hit deadlines and achieve intended outcomes

Problem Solving:

  • Resolve complex problems affecting related programs.
  • Identify and understand the business nuances that must be taken into consideration when designing a program solution.
  • Use peers and partners to learn and understand different solutions and best practices applied by those teams under similar situations.
  • Define problem statements to increase team understanding of program goals and desired outcomes. Engage and implement solutions independently.

Data Analytics:

  • Partner with the Operations and People Analytics team in Global Talent to curate BU driven dashboard that details program usage and change readiness.
  • Use important metrics to report on progress against programs, share trends/barriers and create a data-based narrative on program progress for partners.
  • Find and address bottlenecks in our GT processes

Strategy & Design Thinking:

  • Use your experience to select appropriate solution for business opportunity as it pertains to Global Talent (heavy partnership with SMEs is expected)
  • Deliver strategy updates presentations that convey clear purpose, approach, and intended execution of important programs (partnership within business and a part of your schedule of updates if that is the business approach).

Education and Experience:

  • 10+ years of broad HR experience including talent management and performance management.
  • Recent experience development of performance and succession processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
  • Experience designing and supporting organization-wide talent programs that cover performance management, talent development, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.
  • Role is an Individual Contributor.
  • COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

    The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

    BASE SALARY RANGES
    • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
    ° $126,000 – $176,300 CAN Annually
    • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
    ° $136,600 – $202,300 USD Annually

    Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
