Blizzard Entertainment is seeking an extraordinary finance lead to join our award-winning video game company in Irvine, California. Responsibilities

As the Finance Senior Manager, you will support finance and multifunctional leaders on strategic planning, forecasting, and impact assessment for investments in Franchises and/or across the Blizzard portfolio. You will be a key business partner to Franchise and finance leaders in deciding budget allocations and driving effective decisions. Responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Partner with marketing, finance, and regional teams to develop annual operating plan / quarterly forecast for the budget. Help to set objectives, measurable KPIs, budget, and approval gates for both fixed headcount and variable spend.
  • Lead financial analysis to support decision-making on franchise priorities, investments, and go-to-market plans.
  • Own and lead processes to improve investment tracking, reporting, and evaluation.
  • Partner with game franchise teams to develop deep understanding of audience segments and channel performance.
  • Contribute to decision making on budget allocation and optimization, including user acquisition, influencer activation, partnership marketing, and campaign production, among others.
  • Participate in A/B testing initiatives and build codified knowledge to facilitate cross-franchise learning.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong financial competence. Preferred qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • 4-5+ years of finance experience.
  • Knowledge of the video game industry, and passion for Blizzard game(s) is a plus.
  • Consistent track record of driving innovative initiatives that generate positive revenue growth.
  • Deep knowledge of the key performance metrics that drive business performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to lead sophisticated projects with diverse collaborators across functions, regions, etc.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $105,120.00 – $194,400.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
