Ready to level up your HR game? We’re looking for an experienced HR practitioner to join our Australia People Practices (PP) team!

Our PP team exists to partner directly with managers and employees, focusing on providing front-line support, and effectively delivering EA’s people programs. We play an essential role within the wider People Experience team – a function dedicated to designing and implementing programs and practices that enable our employees to do the best work of their careers.

This role will ensure employees have an exceptional experience, acting as the go-to person for the administrative and operational tasks that support our local PP function. You’ll be a key point of contact for our team, and will have the opportunity to both leverage your existing experience and continue to develop your skills across various aspects of HR.

This is a part time and onsite role, offering three days a week (with some flexibility to determine which days work best for you at the outset).

Responsibilities

  • Act as a key point of contact for the Australia PP team – handling a range of HR and benefits related queries, and redirecting or engaging support as appropriate
  • Provide administrative and operational support – including maintaining employee records, participating in internal audits, and handling employment changes (e.g., contract extensions)
  • Support onboarding and offboarding activities – such as working with managers to onboard new team members, conducting exit interviews, and handling the administrative aspects of both processes
  • Support performance management activities – including our annual performance review process, talent planning, and goal setting
  • Support leave management activities – such as reconciling leave balances, and handling long service and parental leave administration
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of local PP policies – including ensuring that we remain compliant with local employment laws
  • Assist in the development and implementation of PP initiatives – such as new benefits, process improvements, and various other projects
  • Assist in the preparation of content and materials as needed – such as drafting communications, training materials, and reports

Qualifications

  • Experience in an HR Coordinator (or similar) role, with a similar focus to the core responsibilities outlined above
  • A solid understanding of Australian employment law, the basic functions of HR, and relevant best practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders from different teams and levels of the organisation
  • Strong time management skills and a knack for organisation
  • Relevant qualifications (in HR management or similar)

Wondering if you’ll meet all of our requirements? We know those dot points can’t capture all that you might bring to our team, so consider the above a starting point. If you’re interested, please reach out!

Creating amazing games starts with building a team that is as diverse as the communities we serve.
