Job Description

The opportunity is to be filled within Global Accounting As a finance project manager, your role will be to support the accounting teams of French and foreign entities in conjunction with the IT department teams (ERP, RPA, Business intelligence), internal audit and the various departments (purchasing). / Management control/…). You will intervene to optimize processes, guarantee the quality of financial and accounting reporting, by implementing effective and sustainable IT solutions.

In this context, your missions will be as follows:

• Manage transformation/continuous improvement projects to optimize and streamline financial processes world to reduce operational risks.
• Ensure the integration and development of our tools within the framework of different projects: new global ERP/Mergers &Acquisitions/E-invoicing…
• Support operational managers to continue the development, implementation and use of tools serving to increase the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of different activities.
• Participate in the definition of the “core model” of accounting applications and processes based on the best practices in the field.
• Analyze working methods, develop and map current and future business processes with teams operational and submit recommendations.
• Ensure the consistency of all new projects with the core model.
• Ensure the link with the IT teams for all accounting subjects and needs on our tools: expression of needs regarding IT developments, carrying out IT tests, etc.
• Ensure the maintenance/development of tools for current reporting operations: management and monitoring of change requests and bug fixes.
• Direct and supervise one or more functional analysts, to assist you in your mission.

Qualifications

What you bring:

• Specialized in project management, you ideally have solid experience in an audit firm or within a Financial direction.
• You are ideally familiar with the PeopleSoft/Oracle environment.
• You master the basics of accounting.
• Your ability to move from one topic to another and prioritize allows you to excel in project management.
• Always attentive, you know how to inspire confidence in your interlocutors.
• Synthetic and rigorous, you know how to get straight to the point with diplomacy.
• You are bilingual (FR/EN)
