Job Description: Responsibilities
You exhibit mastery in both low- and high-fidelity mockups, creating elements that the team can reuse so that design work is accomplished with efficiency.
Present your design work articulately and support your design decisions within your feature team and other collaborators through excellent communication skills.
Collaborate with designers (Game, UI, Level, Systems, Narrative) to build and uphold the UX vision for the entire game.
Define, socialize and ensure adherence to player-centric design principles.
Embrace a healthy feedback culture; we encourage our UX designers to give and receive constructive feedback as we strive to make even better games together.
Collaborate with the UX Research team to conduct qualitative studies to validate designs and derive actionable improvements or contribute to a better understanding of our players and personal definitions.
Partner with product stakeholders and understand how to use data to help guide game and feature improvements.
You ensure the necessary processes and resources for successful delivery, achieving business outcomes and team success.
You explore new business opportunities and practices, tooling, and UX theories to improve our methodological toolkits.
You mentor less experienced designers to build their skills, communication abilities, and design processes.
Minimum Requirements
Experience in Figma, visual communication and prototyping.
Excellent communication, collaboration and leadership skills.
Familiar with the fundamentals of interaction design and Information Architecture.
Good understanding of game- and player- centric design principles.
Crafting for accessibility and inclusion.
Experience conducting qualitative research and integrating research insights in your designs.
Additional experience
Experience crafting and holding a UX vision for large, systemically sophisticated games.
Knowledge of and curiosity about freemium standard methodologies.
Experience working in an agile project environment.
Knowledge of technical constraints, optimisation, and implementation.
Experience running co-creation sessions with product, design, and engineering.
