As a Technical Program Manager for Efficiency, you will be an individual contributor and report into the Infrastructure Technical Program Manager leader. You will support technical programs for efficiency during rollout of hardware and software technologies to connect Roblox services to users around the world reliably and securely.

You will:

• Build solutions for identifying efficiency opportunities in internal Roblox systems and services.
• Support cross-functional teams (Infra, Finance, Engineering teams, etc.) to understand cost of infrastructure, and lead engineering efficiency efforts
• You will define problem space, collect user requirements and lead engineering teams to plan and ship large-scale systems
• Balance efficiency, and priorities based on impact to the community and our long-term goals
• Create and publish dashboards to communicate with the business status of a project, risks, and milestones
• Align senior leadership and stakeholders around program roadmap
• Manage programs and dependencies from beginning to end (long-term success across teams and components)
• Unblock teams and allow them to stay true to top priorities
• Ensure engineering teams to reliably manage all project phases
• Use data-driven approach to inform teams’ direction

You have:

• A technical leader with domain expertise in system and software engineering (technical depth)
• 7+ years experiences in driving the build of large-scale systems as a TPM
• Experienced with creating and managing programs related to efficiency and costing of services
• Experienced with establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams
• Experienced with identifying important technical problems and opportunities
• Experienced with providing end to end technical programs through roadmapping and reliable execution
• Turn specific solutions into systems that benefit larger community in the long run
• Experience gathering knowledgeable about user needs (planning and delivery)
• Flexible around process, using process as a tool when it makes sense for a team
• Capability of establishing working relationships across diverse teams

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Annual Salary Range

$266,580—$317,500 USD
