Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle EBS Technical Consultant with over 5 years of experience to join our dynamic team. As an Oracle EBS Technical Consultant, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise, designing solutions, and delivering high-quality Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementations and enhancements. Key Responsibilities:
- Implementation & Support: Design, develop, and support Oracle EBS applications, including Oracle Financials (AP, AR, GL, FA), Oracle SCM (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management), and Oracle Projects.
- Customization & Development: Create custom solutions, reports, interfaces, and extensions to meet client requirements using tools like PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, OAF, and Workflow.
- System Integrations: Work on EBS integrations with third-party applications, legacy systems, and other enterprise applications. Expertise in web services, APIs, and other integration tools.
- Troubleshooting & Performance Tuning: Provide troubleshooting and issue resolution support for existing Oracle EBS implementations, optimizing performance and ensuring system stability.
- Upgrade & Migration: Participate in Oracle EBS upgrades and migrations, ensuring smooth transitions from legacy versions to newer EBS versions, while minimizing disruptions to business operations.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including functional and technical specifications, test cases, and implementation guidelines.
- Collaboration & Client Interaction: Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and end-users to ensure the technical solution aligns with business needs. Provide technical expertise during client meetings and training sessions.
- Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure all development follows Oracle EBS best practices and compliance standards, including security, performance, and data integrity.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle EBS (11i/R12) across various modules such as Financials (GL, AP, AR), SCM (Inventory, Purchasing, Order Management), and Projects.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, OAF, and Oracle Workflow.
- Integration: Experience in Oracle EBS integration with external systems using Web Services, APIs, and file-based data imports/exports.
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Expertise in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning within Oracle EBS environments.
- Version Knowledge: Experience working with Oracle EBS R12 or 11i. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud and other Oracle technologies is a plus.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Certifications (Optional): Oracle E-Business Suite certifications are a plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Oracle EBS R12 upgrade or migration projects.
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud applications and integration with EBS.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Ability to mentor junior team members and provide guidance on best practices.
