In addition, you will be responsible for certain accounting operations, maintaining our accounting ERP, and handling ad hoc projects
This is a full-time role on a hybrid schedule in our San Mateo office, reporting to the Assistant Controller.You Will:Manage the monthly close process, which includes reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations and fluxes.Partner with internal business partners, such as Procurement, Production Engineering, FP&A, Tax and Legal, to resolve issues or answer questionsCollaborate on leading strategic partnerships and vendor relationships Prepare and coordinate internal and external audit requests, and handle ad hoc reporting and external audit requests.Assist with ad hoc requests and projects, such as system automation, process improvements and researching accounting topics.Perform SOX internal controls over assigned areas.You Have:7+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a Big 4 or professional services firm and 2 years at a public company; CPA is a plus.Working knowledge of accounting principles and standards (e.g., US GAAP)Audit and Compliance knowledge related to SOX, risk management, and external audit processes.Experience leading a team, and in identifying process improvements and efficiencies.Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (can perform complex functions), and experience using Netsuite.You Are: Detailed-oriented as you will work with immense set of data with various accounting treatments A Critical Thinker with the ability to understand issues, proactively resolve problems and can identify process improvements and efficienciesDriven and can work independently with general guidance, and ability to meet timelines for different projectsA Standout Colleague who is willing to chip in beyond the defined role to meet business needs as circumstances requireFor roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below
The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand
Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range
This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future
