Responsibilities
Lead and manage a small team of UI Artists and 2D artists
Design high fidelity UI experiences that are intuitive, engaging, and align with the product’s goals, usability and accessibility standards and brand.
Guide and evolve the Visual and UI Design Systems to ensure that players enjoy a consistent and immersive gaming experience.
Partner with UI, UX, Game Designers, Producers, Art Directors, Project Managers and Software Engineering teams.
Document and guide awareness of UI standards, and push to improve UI design workflow processes.
Seek feedback on your work and give feedback to other artists in your team.
Contribute to a collaborative, service minded and learning culture.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a UI Artist or UI Designer for games.
A portfolio demonstrating excellent graphic design skills including typography, layout, composition, iconography, colour and motion design..
Leadership experience with small teams (1-10 People)
High level of competence in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects and Figma..
Experience developing and applying style-guides/design systems.
Good technical understanding and appreciation for smart ways to create flexible and scalable UI.
Passion for UX, information design, and creating pixel-perfect solutions.
Motivated by creating a collaborative, transparent,and learning culture within the team.
Experience working within a game engine to create and implement UI features.
