Position Title: Experience Designer II
External Description:
We’re looking for a Lead Product Designer to bring product management and coordination for a cutting-edge, skunkworks project, exploring new technologies to transform interactive entertainment.
Reporting to the Project’s GM, you will drive feature and system level design for a project with the ambition to shape the future of interactive experiences for millions of players.
Responsibilities:
- You will apply design thinking to complex social entertainment systems, translating solutions into intuitive design artifacts such as user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups to guide development.
- You will determine the best UX approaches based on user feedback and competitive analysis, identifying challenges and adapting as you go.
- You will collaborate with product managers, engineers, researchers, and external partners to establish requirements, identify risks, and manage timelines, while integrating user insights into the design process.
- You will create and present design milestones to stakeholders, including detailed prototypes and visual designs, ensuring alignment on the design approach and rationale.
- You will take ownership of the entire design process, from concept sketches and storyboards to rapid prototypes, while addressing design-related roadblocks to ensure smooth progress.
- You will organize and lead meetings to track progress against design goals and establish clear next steps.
- You will work with the development team to ensure design feasibility and quality during implementation, adapting designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on developing and customizing design systems.
- Demonstrated understanding of design methodology, user-centered design principles, and the ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user experience
- Experience partnering with engineering, marketing, and product management teams to bring products from concept to launch.
- Proficiency with Figma and Motion Design tools such as Rive or Adobe After Effects.
- Visual design skills, with the ability to create compelling and cohesive visual identities for digital products.
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
° $122,300 – $170,600 USD Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
