The Role

We are currently seeking a highly organized IT Specialist to play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of our studios in Berlin and Helsinki.

Reporting to the Operations Director, you’ll be a core member of a rock solid team. You will be responsible for supporting, managing, and maintaining the IT infrastructure and processes within these studios. This role will be based in Helsinki, Finland.

As the sole inhouse IT Specialist, you will collaborate with PlayStation’s IT counterparts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to contribute to a growing studio!


IT processes and support

  • Responsible for studio infrastructure, including servers, storage, virtualization, networking and implementing data center best practices.
  • Offer first and second level on- and off-site support to end users on Neon Koi issued hardware and software for both Helsinki & Berlin studios
  • Liaison across teams to ensure IT infrastructure and services align with studio requirements.
  • Upkeep and continuously improve the IT policies, processes, guides and documentation. Implement and enforce security team’s best practices
  • IT Onboarding for new employees

IT equipment and tools

  • Asset management including acquisition and maintenance with external partners
  • Manage and administer cloud-based SaaS tools (Slack, Atlassian, …)
  • Maintain Neon Koi cloud environments (Azure, AWS)

Co-operation with Sony Playstation

  • Work as a local partner for the Sony Playstation IT department
  • Coordinate IT integration to Sony Playstation IT systems


  • Skilled in technical support to end users and customer service preferable for hardware and software
  • Previous experience from IT support in an enterprise environment/organization
  • Detailed understanding of Windows Server 2016+ and Windows/Mac desktop environments
  • 2-4 years of experience as an IT professional
  • Excellent communication skills across a wide audience: you know how to tailor your info to the listener.

The ideal candidate will also have experience in some of the following

  • Experience from gaming industry
  • Experience with networks and network administration
  • Experience supporting remote clients
  • Knowledge of ITIL, Microsoft Desktop certification or equivalent standards
  • Scripting ability (batch files, PowerShell)
  • Experience with cloud environments
  • BS in Computer Science, College diploma Information Technology or equivalent experience
  • A passion for gaming is a bonus!
