Hangar 13 is an internal 2K development studio that creates influential AAA video game experiences across all major platforms. The studio is based in four locations around the world: Brighton (UK), Brno & Prague (Czech Republic) and across the US, working collaboratively as one team. What We Need

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and customer-centric individual to join our finance team as a Part-Time Finance Assistant. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in accounting while contributing to the smooth operation of our finance department.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Responsible for administrative tasks related to employee expenses.
  • Review and sort transactions expensed through the finance system according to the Income Tax Act changes valid from January 2024.
  • Maintain evidence of taxable amounts per employee on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate with employees regarding the correctness of expensed amounts.
  • Prepare accounting entries and communicate with employees on this matter.
  • Perform other administrative tasks as requested by the manager, such as scanning and sorting documents.
  • Serve as a back-up for other team members, handling incoming mail and reception duties.

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, highly-organized team player with a customer focus. This can be an excellent opportunity for a student of a related field (finance or accounting) looking for a professional experience.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of finance or accounting and travel expenses reconciliation is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and a local language.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
