Cloud Chamber is looking for an exceptional Executive Producer to lead a globally distributed development team in delivering our next AAA title. You will guide the project management team in establishing distributed-development best practices and galvanize the development team to deliver milestones on-time and on-budget. Your proven project management and leadership skills will elevate our team, culminating in the successful launch of a highly rated AAA title. As the project driver, you will also work directly with the 2K Publishing group to ensure alignment through consistent communication and transparency.

You are extremely well versed in the successful production processes of AAA multi-platform distributed-development, and have previous experience with feature planning, balancing scope with capacity, leading resource allocation, directing risks and mitigation, and budget management. You know how to build and maintain healthy, high functioning relationships with internal and external partners. You are seen as a force multiplier for your team with a high EQ when it comes to management, empowerment, and motivation.

To be successful in this role you will have prior experience managing the efforts of a large distributed team, be able to communicate clearly and effectively at all levels, and know how to build strong partnerships. Job Details:

  • Define and direct the overall development process to ensure project goals are met.
  • Drive delivery of a polished, highly rated game on time and on budget.
  • Build scenarios and guide the decision-making process.
  • Lead communication with our 2K Publishing Partners ensuring alignment on project goals, budget, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders on the progress of the project.
  • Build and manage relationships with external vendors, including identifying partners, assisting in contract negotiations, and establishing and enforcing budgets.
  • Oversee a globally distributed development team across multiple locations and time zones.
  • Creatively and effectively manage challenges inherent in distributed development.
  • Identify and eliminate blockers to ensure seamless collaboration across remote team members.
  • Foster a cohesive and inclusive community atmosphere within a distributed team environment.
  • Identify and communicate delivery risks and mitigation plans.
  • Provide tactical support to ensure that your team is consistently tackling issues, communicating needs and opportunities, and constantly evolving best practices.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of proven leadership experience working with internal and external development teams as a Lead or Executive Producer.
  • Successful release of several AAA multi-platform game titles.
  • Understanding of the complexities, requirements, and proven best practices of AAA game distributed development production.
  • Deep understanding of production tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Excel.
  • Experience leading successful, distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Experience running cross-discipline development teams, vendors, and outsourcers.
  • Work ethic focused on dynamism and collaboration.
  • Adept at building strong partnerships and leading across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to effectively and constructively partner with a diverse group of creative and technical personalities.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

This is a fully remote role that may be based anywhere in the United States. Below are the expected salary and wage ranges for applicants based in locations where the pay transparency law is in effect:

Colorado: $150,000 and $225,000 per year
California: $175,000 and $250,000 per year
New York State (inclusive of New York City): $175,000 and $250,000 per year
Washington: $150,000 and $225,000 per year

Base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards and eligibility to participate in our 401(K) plan, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees will also receive 14 paid holidays per calendar year, are eligible to earn a minimum of 15 days of vacation leave per year (subject to proration based on start date during the calendar year) and will receive 10 sick days per calendar year. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, 4 including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
