The Tools and Technology Team within Fusion is looking for accomplished people to help us fulfill our mission of providing creative tools and workflows that allow EA to lead the industry in content quality. The Challenge Ahead:
The Development Director (DD) role oversees all aspects of people leadership and project management within their team. You will be experienced in developing people and have proven experience delivering high-quality products to customers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on the Characters Tools team to deliver innovative technologies that deliver exceptional character likenesses to our game team partners. You will report into the Senior Development Director.
Day to day, you will…
Provide project management support to specific workstreams within the Characters domain.
Provide career development to the assigned people on your team.
Determine task dependencies and partner with external teams where needed.
Find and address team and project risks, focusing on removing blockers for the team.
Monitor sprint and roadmap progress and work with the Product Managers to communicate variances to important partners.
Partner with the other team DDs to create a creative, collaborative, and inclusive environment, promoting a culture of learning and development for individuals on the team.
You are/you have…
5+ years project management experience of technical projects and 3+ years team development experience.
University degree Bachelors or equivalent professional experience.
1+ years of experience using Agile project management methodology.
Bonus if you have…
Experience career managing technical people
Experience in a tools team within a games company
Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana
Experience surfacing analytics and metrics
BC COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.
EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):
º $115,100 – $161,200 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
