What you’ll do on our team:

As a Data Analyst Co-op working on the EA Sports FC Data and Analytics team and reporting to a Senior Analyst, your main focus will be understanding how players engage with EA Sports FC and particularly the quality of their experience in playing with or against other players online. You’ll not only be interested in exploring and modeling with data but also curious about how our technical infrastructure sustains a seamless in-game experience for our FC players globally.

How you’ll contribute on our team:

• You will explore player behavior patterns in our data to identify opportunities to improve the player experience.
• You will investigate how players may be experiencing quality issues in their experience using telemetry.
• You will receive business questions from stakeholders, determine the best ways that our data can help answer them, and provide those insights through dashboards, reports, or presentations.
• You will present analyses and findings to our partners in a clear and understandable way.

What we’re looking for:

• Pursuing or completed a BA/BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics, or a related field
• Excellent SQL querying skills
• Proficient at analyzing large datasets in a spreadsheet program (e.g. Excel, Sheets) or in a programmatic analysis tool (e.g. Python, R)

You must be available for a full-time paid internship in the summer of 2024

We are only considering students who will be enrolled in an accredited degree program in the summer of 2024, slated to graduate no earlier than December 2024. Applicants must be legally authorized to work Canada on a full-time basis during the 16-week Co-op. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
