Roblox is seeking a Copywriter to concept and write for the brand across multiple touchpoints including social, growth, partnerships, platform events, live events, and web. This is a true hands-on writing role that’s pivotal to shaping how the Roblox brand sounds, shows up, and showcases all the great content it has. It requires concepting, writing, and delivering storytelling at scale, raising the bar across all creative deliverables. This role will partner with an Art Director and business partners to provide best-in-class creative thinking.

You Will:

  • Enhance the Roblox brand by regularly concepting and creating content across all marketing channels.
  • Partner with team members and marketers to clarify requirements and deliverables when there is ambiguity.
  • Present high-level concepts to internal partners.
  • Ensure the highest standards are achieved.
  • Report to the Creative Director.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of professional writing and editing experience with a bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong concepting skills: you enjoy coming up with strategic and creative content that’s rooted in good storytelling.
  • Dedication to the craft: you place a high value on crafting your work, focusing on quality over quantity.
  • Collaboration skills: you’re comfortable working with cross-functional teams and partners, taking feedback and direction gracefully.
  • Ability to run multiple projects while still delivering high-quality work.

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs, and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and benefits.

Annual Salary Range:

$110,860 — $139,650 USD

Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
