Role overview:
The Content Manager, Digital Games Publishing is responsible for managing and communicating the production status of assigned PSN products to ensure the timely submission of assets, pricing, and setup to meet the publisher targeted release date
The successful candidate will be able to work well under pressure and quickly adapt to change.
What you’ll be doing:
- Establish a strategic business relationship with assigned publisher accounts
- Collaborate with multiple groups to ensure an efficient release of digital content
- Communicate and coordinate production timelines, procedural changes, and submission issues
- Lead meetings to assist publishers with their upcoming title releases as well as informing internal partners of these plans
- Monitor the approval status of digital products through evaluation
- Validate the product type and the intended technical execution of the product on the store front by coordinating with the Content Ops store team and developer support
- Review setups, review content descriptors and titles for accuracy as products are transitioned
- Verify the publishers’ product release timing is achievable with current asset submissions timing standards
- Meet with publisher to better understand their business needs related to PSN operations and submission timing
- Accurately input, publish, and maintain content (such as games and demos) for distribution on the PlayStation storefronts using a web-based content management system.
- Create, maintain, and distribute reports/ documentations/ post-mortems to assure proper execution of projects and enhance processes
- Fix submission or store issues and work with Incident Management or Engineering teams on a resolution
- Attend Partner events as SIE representative
- Assist with process and procedure improvements including working with engineering and product teams on new internal and external features.
- Train partners on new features via Q&A sessions, partner events, documentation, partner round tables, etc.
- Lead internal calls
What we’re looking for:
- 3+ years of equivalent work-related experience required
- Demonstrated ability to work across multiple geographies and time zones
- Strong milestone management and production tracking skill set is a must
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional business and technical writing skills.
- Attention to detail, organised, disciplined with process and policy focused
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with multiple internal and external teams.
- Excellent inter-personal skills – Must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our partners
Desirable:
- Experience working with content management systems (CMS)
- Experience with media or ecommerce websites is a plus
- High-energy, enthusiasm and a deep interest in and knowledge of video games
