About Our Design Home Product Team: At EA, our Design Home Product Team is dedicated to developing a mobile game that empowers players to showcase their interior design skills. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design the requirements of live challenges for Design Home players.
- Analyze gameplay data and user feedback to identify opportunities for enhancing our challenge designs
- Collaborate closely with a large team of producers, product managers, interior designers, and artists to ensure that challenge content is visually appealing and aligns with the game’s aesthetic.
- Implement and balance in-game economies, rewards, and progression systems within live challenges.
- Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to infuse innovation into the game’s design.
- Effectively use our internal tools and autonomously execute on challenge designs
- Identify opportunities to improve our team’s workflow and internal tools and processes
- Successfully release
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Game Design, Interactive Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in game design, preferably in a mobile or free-to-play gaming environment.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make data-driven design decisions.
- Proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or similar software for creating visual design assets.
- A portfolio showcasing your design skills, including examples of game design work and visual design projects.
- Solid understanding of game mechanics, player psychology, and the free-to-play gaming market.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A passion for interior design, aesthetics, and an eye for detail.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The hourly pay ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the hourly pay range for your specific location.
EA has listed the hourly pay ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting. Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
HOURLY PAY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $32 – $49
- New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $29 – $49
- Jersey City, NJ:
º $36 – $49
- Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $29 – $40
- Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $29 – $44
The hourly rate is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
