The EA Mobile Analytics team is seeking an analytics manager to bring their passion for mobile games and data driven cultures to life on new mobile initiatives!

As an analytics manager, you will lead a group of analysts responsible for the creation and management of data analytics tools and infrastructure supporting the analytic needs of EA Mobile Collection group, providing world class analytical insights and capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead strategy development and provide guidance to teams while managing expectations on timing and scope of project work
  • Lead discussions with data analysts and business stakeholders to evaluate game health and generate actionable insights
  • Mentor and coach both new and experienced data analytics colleagues in the development of their skills and complex business problem resolution
  • Investigate and implement new analytics methods & tools to support the needs of the business
  • Manipulate, analyze, and tell a story from large amounts of complex data using different tools and data analysis techniques
  • Partner with the game team to develop business requirements for reporting and analysis. customers vary widely, including but not limited to executives, product managers, engineers, and marketing team members.
  • Develop hypotheses and analysis frameworks to quantify and evaluate the impact of game features, systems, content, and promotions.
  • Present analysis outcomes to stakeholders at varying levels of detail, depending on the audience.
  • Create organized, reproducible analyses that can efficiently apply to other features and games
  • Construct dashboards and tools that enable non-analysts to explore data on their own.

Skills/Requirements:

  • 6+ years of relevant hands on experience, preferably working with large volumes of customer-level data
  • 3+ years of experience as a people manager
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with big data stores (Hive/Hadoop, Big Query, AWS, Snowflake etc)
  • Experience creating interactive dashboards and easily-understood data visualizations using software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Looker)
  • Understanding of how to best structure and validate A/B tests and experiments
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Passion to work in a collaborative team environment with multiple customers and competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate results to a non-technical audience is a must
  • B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, and/or Engineering Sciences
  • Experience with live service or mobile games strongly preferred
  • Preference for familiarity with Python or R

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the range and benefits for your specific location.

Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

  • California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):

º $140,700 – $204,700 USD Annually

  • New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):

º $125,300 – $204,700 USD Annually

  • Jersey City, NJ :

º $164,800 – $204,700 USD Annually

  • Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):

º $131,000 – $174,800 USD Annually

  • Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):

º $125,300 – $198,100 USD Annually

  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria):

º $107,600 – $147,100 CAN Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity. For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
