Recognised in our sector by an extensive, reputable history and broad product range, Nintendo Australia is recruiting an Account Executive to join our team on a full-time basis.
Reporting into the Sales Manager and working closely with the Sales Team, Managers, and team members of other departments, this role is responsible for achieving maximum sales, catalogue and shelf space for all nominated accounts, as well as the attainment of budget sales forecasts. In addition, the role will be responsible for the development of Nintendo’s business within designated National accounts and through new distribution opportunities.

Key requirements for the role include:
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Nintendo’s products and services as well as each customer’s business, target demographics and objectives.
- Scheduling regular meetings with each customer to ensure business objectives are met and work through any challenges / objections.
- Achieving sales forecasts and working within designated budgets.
- Demonstrating effective negotiation, planning, and execution skills with retailers.
- Reviewing and managing the customer’s inventory and replenishment levels on a weekly basis.
- Assisting in providing monthly product and sales forecasting to the Sales Manager.
- Working closely with the Sales Admin staff to ensure all purchase orders, allocations, forecasts, and claims are processed within directed / company timelines.
- Planning and executing promotional activity with accounts to maximise sell-thru and exposure within approved expenditure levels.
To succeed in the role, you will require:
- 3+ years’ experience in an Account Executive role (highly desirable).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience in vendor negotiation.
- Ability to be self-motivated and work autonomously.
- Capacity to manage competing priorities and remain composed under pressure.
- The ability to quickly gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products and services.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Experience in managing, calculating, and reporting financial sales ledgers.
- Experience in timely preparation and distribution of reports.
- Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office suite (advanced Excel skills desirable).
